“Liquid Tones pluck another smooth, soulful release out of obscurity with mysterious newcomer Londy. Not much is known about this producer or their whereabouts, but one thing’s for sure – they’ve got this liquid funk sound down pat. From melancholy opener “Yeah You” through some beautiful live sampling in “Dor” and into harder stepping anthemic tune “Maybe” and break-filled old-school-vibing “Tears”, the full spectrum of mellow D&B is represented here. Finishing on the gliding, effortless beats of “Lies”, it’s hard to see where this DJ has been hiding, but we hope we hear more about them in the very near future.”
